MSRC (MODERATE SULPHATE RESISTING PORTLAND CEMENT)

Moderate Sulfate-resisting cement is recommended mainly for use where concrete comes in contact with soil having sulphate content.

Use of Pioneer Moderate Sulfate-Resisting Cement improves the durability of concrete in marine environments.

Low heat of hydration: The use of Pioneer Moderate Sulfate-Resisting Cement reduces the heat evolution of concrete for a given cement content and is certified as a low-heat of hydration cement.

Alkali-silica reaction: The use of Pioneer Moderate Sulfate-Resisting Cement minimizes the risk of alkali-silica reaction.

 PLC CEM II 42.5 R

Portland-limestone cement (PLC 42.5 R) has comparable performance properties to Ordinary Portland Cement but improves the environmental performance of concrete.

For all general type of concrete products, we can use PLC 42.5 R.

Durability, Hydration, Strength & workability of PLC 42.5 R is as good as OPC.

  • Resistance to certain types of mild acids
  • Easy Workability & excellent concrete finishing properties
  • Reduced Alkali-Aggregate Reaction
  • Higher workability & longer slump retention
  • Better surface finish due to reduced bleeding
  • Better aesthetic finish due to light color, especially suitable for decorative & architectural concrete

Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS)

Pioneer is a supplementary cementitious material that can be combined with cement to produce concrete having several advantages namely reduced heat evolution, enhanced durability, better workability, delayed setting, etc.

It conforms both to EN 15167 & ASTM C 989-99 standards. It is produced by grinding premium quality Granulated Blast-furnace Slag, a by-product of steel manufacturing process, to a fineness of around 400 m2/kg.
